Template matching method to determine oil palm trees

Abstract Palm oil is one of the leading plantation sectors in Indonesia. product which consists crude palm and kernel has a high economic value. Indonesia an area 34.18% world’s plantations. Aceh province recorded to have reaching 488 thousand hectares 2020, with plantations owned by Indonesia, especially Aceh, making counting process calculate amount fertilizer used each tree circumference production into work takes time price quite expensive. The purpose this study number palms using template matching method on aerial photo images. 3 stages analysis, that is: Select sample, Generate templates, Test template. result obtained 9.558 trees, but it still necessary edit attribute because there are some trees not detected two points plant.
